Short Stories and the Illuminati
Crimson Snow is #1 on Amazon!
A couple weeks ago, I sent you guys a free short story to celebrate Valentine’s Day and I am so happy to share that Crimson Snow has been topping the charts on Amazon!! Number one in short stories for mystery, thriller and suspense, and number three in short stories, literature and fiction. Did you read it? Did you like it? If you loved reading it as much as I loved writing it, pop over to Amazon (HERE) and Goodreads (HERE) and leave a review! PRETTY PLEASE? Those reviews let me keep writing and also let me give away the occasional short story. (wink, wink)
While we’re on the subject of short stories, I have another one coming up! In another week I’ll be introducing Alien Landscape, a short story that kinda ripped my guts out to write. The metaphor is thick in this one, and like Crimson Snow, it’s a little divergent from my norm. But the reviews from early readers have been amazing. I’m hoping you guys will love it as much as they do.
I don’t have a knock-knock joke for you today, but my youngest just accused me of being “in charge of the Illuminati.” Not in an “I’m being silly” way, but in a “How dare you keep this from me” way. Apparently I give off conspiracy vibes just standing in the kitchen eating ice cream out of the container. Good times.
So, starting today, I am on a quest to convince him that this is actually true. If you have a brilliant idea, I’m all ears. Maybe I’ll write myself into an illuminati short story and let him read it as proof that I’m a part of that super-secret clan, but then I’d have to spend the rest of my life looking over my shoulder. On the upside, maybe I could get him to clean his room without complaining. Decisions, decisions.
Thank you guys for being here. I cannot wait to read those reviews and find out what you thought about Crimson Snow!
